Blasch Precision Ceramics is an international ceramic and refractory component manufacturer headquartered in Albany, NY. Since 1979, they have focused on providing quality products with exceptional performance, increased economic value, and industrial sustainability across different manufacturing and industrial processes. Blasch equally serves as a technical partner for their clients, working with them to develop innovative parts and technical solutions for a wide range of industries.

Blasch Website Redesign
WEBSITE REDESIGN CHALLENGES & GOALS
Blasch sought a new website which would provide a more intuitive user experience, increase lead generation, simplify site maintenance and content management, and better reflect their brand identity and mission.
Our main challenge was to retain existing Blasch brand elements and messaging, while creating a site that would feel fresh and provide better results. We sought to improve accessibility, mobile user experience, SEO, SEM, and update the visual language to better align with the recently redesigned logo.
OUR SOLUTION
We designed and developed a Drupal 10 website that was highly organized, visually aligned to their new brand pillars, and was adaptable for third party integrations. The site features an improved navigation structure, with the addition of a Products filter page, as well as a refined visual design system that allows users to scan the pages to find like-items, products, and resources.
According to a Google Lighthouse report, the new website saw a 129% improvement in accessibility, and a 778% improvement in average page load time.
LOGO REDESIGN
When Blasch revitalized their brand pillars, they knew they needed a revamped logo. From customized product design (shown in the initial blueprint-style hexagon animation), to product manufacturing and installation (shown in the renderings of their innovative HexWall product), we wanted to show that Blasch is so much more than a parts supplier – they’re a technical partner. This redesign was done with the new website in mind, providing Blasch with an expanded visual language that we were able to implement on the web.

Our work for Blasch, originally began with a product promotional video for their patented Vector Wall. Shot with Panasonic cameras, the video was created to increase sales leads and drive global sales. We implemented a great deal of 3-D motion graphics to show viewers how the Vector Wall functions within large scale reaction furnaces. The video brought about unprecedented sales for the Blasch team. Our video work continues with a series of web videos shot on Cannon C 100 cameras, featuring different Blasch products and Sales Engineers, along with additional marketing videos shot on Red cameras and a multitude of 3D motion graphic sales videos.
